What to Expect From the Next-Gen Version of GTA V When It Comes to Technicalities?

Version of GTA V

The release of Grand Theft Auto V for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S is getting closer. Video game publisher Rockstar has, therefore, decided it’s time to reveal a few details about the upcoming next-gen version. For starters, the Version of GTA V  game will run in three modes:

  • Fidelity Mode – native 4K resolution with ray-tracing and at 30 fps (upscaling 4K resolution for Xbox Series S),
  • Performance Mode – upscaling 4K resolution at 60 fps (1080p for Xbox Series S),
  • Performance RT Mode – a mixture of Fidelity and Performance Mode, or upscaled ray-tracing 4K resolution having 60 frames per second.

There are also faster loading times, greater diversity of pedestrians and traffic, increased vegetation density, better water shadows, as well as enhanced coloration and light. Also, anti-aliasing has been improved, as well as the motion blur effect, explosion quality, fire, and much more that Rockstar hasn’t listed.

Players Can Stream Their Progress in Story Mode

There will be support for Dualsense haptic vibrations and adaptive triggers on the PlayStation 5, and there’s also Tempest 3D audio support for the PlayStation 5 and Spatial Sound for the Xbox Series X / S. Owners of GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One will be able to transfer the progress from these versions of games to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.

That is, starting from the beginning of March, players can begin streaming their progress in Story Mode through the Rockstar Games Social Club. To do this, you need to pause the game, go to the “Game” option and select the “Upload Save Game” option from there.

Animal Species- Version of GTA V

There are a total of 28 animal species in the game, with 13 of them exclusive to the Next-Gen (PS4, Xbox One, and PC) edition, as well as Bigfoot’s presence. Several of the creatures have different appearances. For a brief time on the PS3/Xbox 360, there were animals in GTA 5 Online. However, due to server capacity, they were removed. Animals make a comeback in GTA V, and they play a much bigger role in the plot. Dogs feature throughout the game, and the player can interact with them in a variety of ways. New animals and a new collectible quest to photograph them were added to the improved edition of GTA V for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Speaking of animals in GTA V, horse betting is still on. Horses 1 and 2 have the best chances of winning. Picking Horse 1 results in more overall victories, but not by much, thus any horse can be chosen. You won’t win any more money if the horse finishes first or second than if it finishes third. This is the safest of the straight bets, but it also pays out the least. If you think the horse will finish higher than the third, a Win or Place bet will give you a superior return, similar to the real-money Internet wagering with operators rated at Bookmaker-Expert.

No Upgrade of the Game for PS4 and Xbox One

Although Rockstar has said nothing on the matter, all indications are that owners of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game won’t see an upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series X / S version of the game. If the option exists, it probably won’t be free.

Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online will be available in a digital version from March 15 on the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. Orders and pre-load will start on March 8, and the physical version of the game will arrive in April. In addition, the first three months of the GTA Online launch will be free to download for PlayStation 5 owners.
